jacq left for brisbane for missionary camp today.
wow, i hope to be able to go for theses camps as i mature in my sprirtual walk with God.
in any case, i read deut.28 and lev.26 that bern had told us
which i thought is really useful to many especially those pioneering their schools.

deut.28. the main topics were:
-blessings for obedience
-curses for disobedience

1. if we follow God and obey all the commands He has given us, He will set us high above everything in all the nations. Blessings from God will definitely come upon us, slowly after we have obeyed Him. if we follow Him, He will make us the head and never the tail. And if we pay attention to the commands He has given us today, we will be at the top, never at the bottom.
never should we turn away from Him and follow, serve other gods.

2. curses will come upon you and overtake you if you do not follow God's commands. we will be cursed wherever we go whether in or out. we will not be even worth an alien. the alien rises higher and higher, but we will just sink lower and lower. never will we get to be the head. always the tail we will be. in fact, we will get into such a terrible state that even if we offer ourselves to someone as slaves for free, they do not even want us.

which want of the above would you rather have. or rather, would you rather be.

lev.26.the main topics were:
-reward for obedience
-punishment for disobedience

1. God will grant us peace throughtout the land, we don't have to be afraid of beasts and enemies. just as God had spoke to the five of us in the chung cheng pioneering team. Five of you will chase a hundred, and a hundred of you will chase ten thousand, and your enemies will fall by the sword before you. (v8) God seemed to be telling us not to be afraid as He will always be there to back us up.

2. we will be wasted in the land, scattered among nations to be people that are of no use and no help. they will be fearful of everything without God's comfort, peace, anoiting. they are practically of no use. to put it crudely, rubbish. one that is of no signifiacance at all that many throws about. just like a flimsy leaf that trembles in the presence of the cold wind.

once again, which want would you rather have?

Information

Unhappiness in relationships, according to Dr. Gary Chapman, is often due to the fact that we speak different love languages. Sometimes we don't understand our partner's requirements, or even our own. We all have a "love tank" that needs to be filled in order for us to express love to others, but there are different means by which our tank can be filled, and there are different ways that we can express love to others.
