The next day, the bone was still stuck there!!
ONLY DEEPER!!!
Mum said she would bring me to see the doctor tt night,
so i had to stay with it till night.. :(

That very night,
Mum brought me to the GP to have a look.
We went down to one of the clinics at HDB hub.
In the end, the doctor could not see the bone
and so he refered us to Tan Tock Seng hospital.
I asked mum if we can go to Thomson Medical instead.
So she checked with the doctor,
he said tt it was fine but wad for waste so much money
just having to remove a fish bone??
Mum decided to heed his advice and go to Tan Tock Seng hospital
the doctor even wrote us a reference letter.
We left for Tan Tock Seng hospital shortly after tt.

The queue there was extremely long!!!
Mum asked how long it would roughly take for us to wait.
The lady at the registery counter told us 2 to 3 hours!!!
Mum found it crazy,
so we decided to go to Thomson Medical instead.
She claimed wad for save money for such a long wait??

When we reached Thomson Medical,
we were looking for the A&E ward
so we ask a counter lady
and she told us tt there was no A&E ward for Thomsom Medical,
she told us to either go to Tan Tock Seng or Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre.
Mum told her tt we just came from Tan Tock Seng hospital,
so the lady suggested Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre.

On the way there Mum said tt we were going from a cheap place to an expensive place.
First the clinic
then Tan Tock Seng Hospital
followed by Thomson Medical Centre
wad next??
Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre which was the top hospital in Singapore???

When we reach there was saw no other patients so we were served immediately.
tt was something about paying for an expensive place
as Mum said tt the medical fees would definately be above $300!!

The medic first took my blood pressure
lucky thing it was normal.
Then they had to let the GP in tt hospital check me first.
There was no bone visible there cause it was too deep down.
He had to call in the specialist.
The specialist just went home to rest but had to come down because of me.

I had to take an X-ray before the doctor comes to check where the bone was.
But it might not be visible by ther X-ray machine told one of the medics
The X-ray doctor help me do my X-ray and apprently nth could be seen.
then the speciaist came hew looked so much like a male actor
who usually acts on channel 5.

Anyway he was a really nice doctor his name is called, Dr Chee
he brought us to his clinic at Paragon,
his clinic was really nice and big
the moment you get in you will see the counter and a fish tank
he oso has a classy toilet in his clinic at the right hand corner
much classyer then at home
on the left hand side, there is a sofa with wooden frame
right in front of it is a Sharp Aqous (i think it is spelled like tt)
then there is a small play area for children.
Then there is the door to Dr Chee's room.

He said he had to numb my throat
so tt he will be able to place a scope through my nose
then he will be able to find the bone to see if it is still there.
I was very afraid at first but he calmed me down
by claiming tt it is natural for someone to be afraid and scared
as we do not know wad he will be going to happen to us
tt made me feel quite at home.
He had to let the medicine take effect first
as he had sprayed some kind of medicine into my nostrils.
He then switched on the television or me to calm myself for a moment.
I was watching Switched on the tele.

When i was ready,
we went into the room and got ready to place the scope
through my nose all the way down my throat!!
He did it in a calm manner,
Guess wad!?
It did not hurt at all!!
He was upset to find the bone still in there.
He had to remove it if not there would be an infection
other harmful things will follow soon.

Dr Chee gave us a few choices on how we would like to remove the bone:
1. I will have to open my mouth in an upright position,
then,he will numb my throat and I will have to pull
my tougue as far out as possibe. He willl then look for
the bone reach for it using a special forceps to grab it
out. But i must not gag, Dr Chee is aware tt i will gag
a lot so he suggests we try it this way first.
2. I will have to open my mouth lie down, then , he will
numb my throat with the medicine thingo again. This
time, all the procedures will be the same as the 1 option
just tt i will be able to gag although it is gonna be more
uncomfortable then the first option.
3. I will be placed under sedative. Dr Chee will pry open my,
mouth and remove the bone in less then 3 seconds. although
tt will incur more costs.

We tried the first 2 ways and luckily,
he managed to get the bone out in less then 5 seconds!!
He said tt the lesson learned is to belief in yourself cause i did not have faith in myself
but i said tt the lesson learn is neva to eat fish again
he joked and said tt tt is the second lesson to learn.

In the end,
we thanked him
he said tt i would not have to see him anymore haha!!
His fee were lik $500!!
and the hospital's $200 to $300!
In total almost $800!!!

I actually could not get my pockey money for like a year
but luckily we could claim from insurance!!!
Wheww!!
haha!!

If anyone needs to see a specialist on fish bones or sth else,

Information

Unhappiness in relationships, according to Dr. Gary Chapman, is often due to the fact that we speak different love languages. Sometimes we don't understand our partner's requirements, or even our own. We all have a "love tank" that needs to be filled in order for us to express love to others, but there are different means by which our tank can be filled, and there are different ways that we can express love to others.
